(Literacy- Sounds)
Things you will need:
- Bag
- Objects from around the house
Task:
Place objects in a bag.
The adult then says "In my bag you will find..." and sounds out one of the items.
e.g. s-p-oo-n f-or-k c-ar f-l-ow-er
Can you guess which item it is by listening to the sounds?
If you are not sure maybe you can have a clue and choose between two of the items!
Comments/Share with your family:
What is the inital sound of the object? e.g. if it is a car the inital sound is 'c'
Can you think of anything else beginning with that sound?
Can you clap the sounds together?!
