Balloons
Paint
Card (coloured)
Egg boxes
Scissors
Glue

Task:
Our book of the week is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"
Let's create our own caterpillar or butterfly art....

Caterpillar Balloon Painting!

Blow up a balloon and simply use it to create your own caterpillar by dipping it into 

paint!  How long is your caterpillar?

Egg Box Caterpillars!

Using an empty egg box and paint to create this 3D junk model of a caterpillar!

Can you draw on his eyes?

What could you use for his antenna?

Butterfly Symmetry! 

Simply draw a butterfly on a piece of white paper.

Using colourful paints paint one side of the butterfly's wings. 

Then fold the piece of paper in half../

Look.. "It's the same on both sides"

Butterfly Collage!

Cut different coloured paper into different small shapes.

 Stick onto a butterfly template to create a beautiful collage!
