One of the Supertato characters is Evil Pea who goes around the supermarket causing mischief and kidnapping the other vegetables!
Using peas in a pod see if you can tweezer out the peas counting how many are in each pod.
Can you guess how many peas are in each pod? What is one more? What is one less?
Using the tweezers is also excellent for developing fine motor skills.
We did this activity last year in Nursery and the children thoroughly enjoyed it!
Using tins of peas and a potato masher to mash up the peas!! This is great for developing strength in your hand muscles.

We really enjoyed this activity this week!!
It was a little bit tricky at first, but we persevered and didn't give up!
We even tried with a timer to see who could get the most peas!
Gabriel got 62!!!
